丽江,纳西族的故乡。具有悠久历史和文化传统的纳西族,渊源于中国古代西北黄河和湟水谷地一带的羌人,以后向南迁徙到四川省的岷江上游,又向西南方向迁至雅砻江流域,再南迁至云南金沙江上游的东西地带,在丽江、宁蒗、永胜、中旬、维西及其周围地区定居下来。在漫长的历史发展过程中,经历了人类社会发展的各个阶段。纳西族不断创造发展自己的历史与文化,使其在中华民族灿烂的文化宝库中,成为一颗璀璨的明珠。丽江是历史文化名城,大研镇是它形象的名片,纳西人灵秀多姿的气质呼之欲出,
