The color reaction and determination of platinum (IV) and rhodium (III) alone with 5-CI-PADAB have been studied and rhodium has been reported. However, the mutual interference of platinum and rhodium in the determination method is more difficult to solve. However, in practical work, it often encounters the problem of the measurement under the coexistence of platinum and rhodium. Therefore, based on the previous work, we explored the possibility of dual-wavelength spectrophotometry for the determination of rhodium in the presence of large amounts of platinum. The method is applied to the determination of trace rhodium in platinum and rhodium synthesis samples and platinum and rhodium mixed solution samples with accurate results and good emphasis.
