以Ｃ院为邮电部北京通信设备厂设计、开发的一个光纤局域网管理信息系统——邮电部北京通信设备厂计算机网络管理信息系统为例，重点阐述了ＮＯＶＥＬＬ网间互连技术的几种方法，以及一个实际的光纤局域网的实现。通过本文的介绍，能使读者对局域网的互联，有一个初步的了解，以便在网络互联的工作中加以借鉴。
