利用施工中剩余的玻璃废料,可制做玻璃踢脚。它不但具有水泥和磨石踢脚的装饰效果,而且成本低,易清扫,能防水,施工简便,特别是光质感强,可施以各种色彩,以满足较高装饰需求。玻璃踢脚施工操作主要步骤如下:1.根据玻璃余料,按照设计要求高度(一般15cm ),划成板块,并用油石将毛边磨光。玻璃板块的长度可由板厚及余料尺寸合理确定,3mm时,可划成与板块同高成方形,5 mm时,可适当加长,但不宜超过0.9m。然后将其一面擦净后,喷(或者刷)所需颜色的油漆,也可用水彩绘各种图案,凉干后备用,按需要也可不作彩色。
