The index of this paper is collected from more than 120 kinds of Chinese newspapers and periodicals published in 1985 in China. The articles published in internal publications, essays and publications of ethnic minorities are not included in the index. The contents of this essay are divided into three categories according to its content: history, language and literature, and religious philosophy. Each category is mainly arranged in the theme and the elaboration of the article, while the articles of the same nature are published in sequence. What needs to be explained is that Mongolia is a newly emerging subject. The content and scope of its study are not conclusive at present. Therefore, the index included a wide range. For example, the historical part selected the ancient Chinese nationality from the west to the Junggar and the east to the Nenjiang River, the ancient nationalities that have appeared in northern China since the Yin and Zhou Dynasties, and the later essays on the Mongolian history. The articles concerning Xianbei and the Khitan ethnic groups include, as appropriate, articles dealing with the national history of Xianbei and Khitan as found in the Northern Wei and Liao Dynasties, as appropriate. The latter is difficult to distinguish in content. In addition, there are also articles on Uygur origin related to Huiqi. The lower limit of the essay’s content is Qing Dynasty. The archeological part is mainly located in Inner Mongolia, and also contains archaeological achievements in other areas related to the ethnic groups collected in this index. The content not only includes the archeology of all ethnic groups of all ages, but also incorporates archeological articles about primitive society. --editor
