Designed by Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Design Institute, Shanghai Yan’an East Road Tunnel, the main construction project undertaken by Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Company, won two prizes of National Quality Engineering Gold Award and Luban Prize of Construction Engineering in 1991, which is also the first in China’s municipal engineering Time won this award.
