辽宁省毛泽东哲学思想研究会召开了1989年年会。75名会员参加,会上共提交论文33篇。会议期间,传达了“全国马克思主义哲学教育与研究问题研讨会”的会议精神,就研究、宣传毛泽东哲学思想的现实意义、改革开放以来毛泽东哲学思想的重大发展、纪念毛主席诞辰100周年的筹备工作等问题展开了热烈的讨论。会议还修改并通过了学会章程,并以民主程序进行了换届改选,组成了第三届理事会,由武庆安同志任理事长。学会正式颁发了理事
