苏联马钢研究出并采用了一种模铸底板保护工艺,使用的是由耐火粉料、水玻璃、耐火粘土和石墨粉组成的耐火泥糊。用喷雾装置往底板上涂一耐火层。15个锭模的铸锭小车喷涂时间为3~5分钟,往底板中心和模壁下部涂厚5~20毫米的耐火保护层。涂后30分钟即可送去供铸锭用。锭模内注满钢水后,耐火泥糊中的水玻璃即分解,从而便于用压缩空气清理底板。
Soviet Union Masteel developed and applied a molded underlay protection process using a refractory paste made of refractory powder, water glass, refractory clay and graphite powder.
