该品种系浙江省种子公司和浙江农业大学与生命技术学院合作育成的中熟籼型新组合。该组合株型紧凑,分蘖力强,茎秆粗壮,耐飞抗倒,剑叶短而挺,熟期适中,穗型中等,结实率高,千粒重较高,后期青秆黄熟不早衰,丰产性较好,中抗稻瘟病和白叶枯病,适应性好。并于2002年3月28日通过浙江省农作物品种审定委员会审定。
