党报通讯员为维护党和人民的利益,经过正当的途径,向党报反映情况而受到追查,这在党中央一再号召恢复党的优良传统,在贯彻执行党内政治生活的若干准则的情况下发生,而且是发生在省级领导机关和负责干部的身上,实在令人惊讶!这说明,一些同志尽管口头上说是要发扬民主,行动上却加以压制;讲的是维护党和党的领导机关的威信,做的却是削弱党的领导和降低党的威信的那一套。这是很值得引起人们注意的事情。
In order to safeguard the interests of the party and the people, party reporters and correspondents have been traced back to the party newspaper through the proper channels. This has occurred after the Central Party Committee repeatedly called for the restoration of the fine tradition of the party and implemented some guidelines for the political life within the party. It is indeed surprising that this is happening at the provincial leading bodies and in charge of cadres. This shows that some comrades, though speaking verbally, want to carry forward democracy and suppress them in their actions. They are talking about safeguarding the leadership of the party and the party Prestige, but it is doing that is to weaken the party’s leadership and lower the party’s prestige. This is something that deserves attention.
