福建省福清市融侨经济技术开发区,是我国改革开放引进侨资的产物,是唯一以“侨”字命名的国家级开发区。它是1987年由印尼著名福清籍华商林绍良为首的三林集团发起创办的,后随着改革开放的发展而发展壮大,走出一条“以侨引台、以侨台引外、侨台港外联合开发”的招商引资模式,其主要经济指标居福建省各开发区之首,并跻身于全国经济开发区的前列,形成了自己的优势和特点,被誉为“不是特区的特区”。
