作业与教育活动的其他方面有着密切的联系,教师通过作业反馈教学信息、检查教学效果。学生通过作业吸收、完善所学知识。作业设置过程必须符合当前教育形势的要求,做到内容创新、形式多样,以达到培养和提高学生素质的目的。在大力提倡创新教育的今天,教师怎样创新作业的设置,值得深入研究。这既能为教师减负,更能为学生的发展寻找新路。结合英语学科的特点从四个方面探讨了作业的设置和实践:一是作业的作用和意义;二是分析目前作业存在的问题及其危害;三是针对传统作业存在的问题,提出新课程下作业设置应转变的几个方面并结合教学实践案例予以说明;四是提出作业的评价方法应多元化。
