词汇是构建语言的材料,是学好语言的基础。《全日制义务教育普通高级中学英语课程标准(实验稿)》(教育部,2001)明确指出,高中毕业生应学会用3000个单词和400-500个习惯用语或固定搭配。高中英语学习一方面要注意扩充词汇量,另一方面要注意对词汇的理解和运用。
Vocabulary is to build the language of the material is to learn the language of the foundation. Full-time Compulsory Education General English Curriculum Standard for Senior High Schools (Trial Version) (Ministry of Education, 2001) made it clear that high school graduates should learn to use 3000 words and 400-500 idioms or fixed collocation. High school English learning on the one hand should pay attention to expanding vocabulary, on the other hand should pay attention to the understanding and use of vocabulary.
