First arrived in Lima, it gave me the “first impression” not bad. Lima is surrounded by mountains on three sides by the sea, the climate is lukewarm, all year round not so clear, no wind and rain. Winter foggy, occasionally under the Lima called “rain” drizzle. Lima is the world’s famous “rain-free city,” so it is not surprising that there is no rain gear in the shops. The fact that the United Nations established Lima as a “cultural heritage of mankind” in December 1991 really aroused the Lima for a while. But this honor crown also means responsibility and obligation. Lima Mayor Belmont once told me that protecting ancient buildings in the old city was more difficult than building that year. At the core of the problem is the need for financial, technical and people support.
