Using the hybrid theory of post-colonial literary criticism, Lessing’s dismissal of Colonial discourse and colonial authority by Lessing Lessing’s debut novel “Wild Grass is Singing” is explored. Through deep reading, feeling and understanding Lessing’s expectations and exploration of establishing a harmonious interpersonal relationship of sincere love in post-colonial South Africa.
