Trees rely on its huge canopy, roots and a large number of litter, intercept rainfall, reduce surface runoff, to improve soil structure, maintain water and soil play an important role. Like an umbrella, the canopy intercepts rainfall and reduces the impact of rain on the ground, alleviating surface water flow and reducing the erosion of rainwater on the ground. It is determined that the crown can intercept rainfall 15% to 30%. A small part of these rain water evaporates into space, and the rest passes through the leaves and branches and is stagnant in the layers, slowly infiltrating the litter on the surface of the earth.
