2006年12月22日至23日,全国少工委五届三次全委会在北京召开。这次会议是在全党、全国人民认真学习贯彻党的十六届六中全会和中央经济工作会议精神,全面推进社会主义和谐社会建设的形势下召开的,是集中检阅一年多来“全队抓基层、全队抓落实”工作成效的一次重要会议。会议的主要任务是:以邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想为指导,深入学习贯彻党的十六大和十六届六中全会精神,全面贯彻落实科学发展观,紧紧围绕构建社会主义和谐社会的战略任务,按照“全队抓基层、全队抓落实”的要求,研究、部署、推进2007年主要工作,进一步发挥少先队在未成年人思想道德建设中的重要作用,使少先队更好地服务大局、服务少年儿童健康成长,为构建社会主义和谐社会作出贡献。
