为了探索海上观测平台共享机制,发挥国内多方科研力量的综合优势,加强海洋现场数据的长期积累,促进海洋科学研究多学科交叉与融合,中国科学院南海海洋研究所“实验3”号考察船2004年起开始实施南海北部开放航次观测计划.该计划以珠江河口和南海北部海洋多尺度海洋动力和环境过程为观测对象,以提高认知和预测自然与人类活动对南海近海生态系统影响的能力为目标,为南海海洋管理可持续发展与决策提供科学依据.
