由于美国蓄意袭击我国驻南斯拉夫大使馆在中国人民心中投下的巨大阴影,日前笔者在参加解放军装甲兵工程学院千兆校园网开通仪式时,对军事院校如何选择IT厂商格外关注。笔者看到,该校园网与普通高校校园网相比,除了有内网、外网之分,两网在物理上完全隔绝体现了军事特色外,更多体现出来的是平民化特色:他们用Intel的千兆、百兆交换机,用Cisco的路由器,用华胜的IA架构服务器,用中天德特威勒的布线系统,用NT和Backoffice作为主要软件平台。如果不考虑装用户背景,这其实是一个很普通的建网项目。 正如全国人民已经达成的共识“落后就要挨打,富国必须强兵”,学院响应江泽民主席号召,确立了要在10年内办
As the United States deliberately attacked the huge shadow cast by our embassy in Yugoslavia on the hearts of the Chinese people, I recently paid particular attention to how military academies chose IT vendors when attending the opening ceremony of the PLA Campus of PLA Academy of Armored Force. I see that the campus network compared with ordinary college campus network, in addition to the internal network, the network of external points, the two networks completely isolated from the physical embodiment of the military characteristics, but more reflected in the characteristics of the common people: they use Intel Gigabit, Fast switches, Cisco routers, servers with Teamsun’s IA architecture, Zhongtian Datwyler’s cabling system, and NT and Backoffice as their major software platforms.
