职务犯罪是指利用职务所形成的职权、地位优势或便利条件而实施的犯罪,职务犯罪具有对社会和对所在单位形象及工作的双重危害性。就公安工作而言,职务犯罪影响了公安队伍战斗力,损害了人民警察形象。有效地减少直至消灭职务犯罪现象,对于加强公安队伍建设,提高公安队伍战斗力,树立人民警察良好形象有着重要的现实意义和深远的历史意义。
Duty crime refers to the crime which is carried out through the use of his position, status advantage or convenience. Duty crime has the dual hazard to the society and the image and work of his unit. In terms of public security work, job-related crimes affect the combat effectiveness of public security forces and damage the image of the people’s police. Effectively reducing the crime until the end of their duties is of great practical significance and far-reaching historical significance for strengthening public security contingent building, raising the combat effectiveness of the public security forces and establishing a good image of the people’s police.
