当前,改革是历史的潮流,是时代的特征,是四化的保证,是国家的希望。我们需要千千万万个无私无畏、立志改革的仁人志士。正是在这样的形势下,影片《最后的选择》应运而生。它以改革与反改革的斗争为题材,热情歌颂了以陈春柱、徐枫为代表的改革者的高尚品格,着力塑造了省委副书记陈春柱这一高级领导干部的艺术形象。影片成功地体现了时代精神,给人以强烈的感染和深刻的启迪。陈春柱的形象是具有典型的时代意义的。如果说,改革者徐枫可比喻为一匹志在千里的良驹,那么陈春柱就是善于识别、支持和重用改革者的新时代的“伯乐”。陈春柱这个艺术形象的出现,无疑是电影创作中的一个可喜的新成果。影片《最后的选择》并不象一般故事片那样以事
