杂交水稻秋季制种采用当年春繁的不育系时,常因不育系种子发芽势差、发芽率低,呈现出苗参差不齐,成苗率低,致使秧苗不足,盛花期不集中,影响异交结实。为了打破不育系的休眠期,福建省永安县和三明市农业局,从1978年开始先后进行了硝酸液浸种处理不育系种子的试验,并经大面积制种实践,取得较好效果。此法目前已在三明地区各县推广应用。我们用0.1%、0.2%、0.3%、0.4%、0.5%、0.6%和0.8%等不同浓度硝酸溶液,浸威41、威20、珍汕97和四汕等不育系的种子,浸种时间为36或48或60小时。其结果是:(1)春繁的威41不育系处理效果较明显,其发芽率比未处理的提高5—63%,发芽势提高1.5—37.5%。其中以0.6%浓度药液处理的效果最好,发芽率
