王澍:1963年生于新疆,在西安生活。他于1985年毕业于南京工学院(今东南大学)建筑系,2000年获同济大学建筑学博士,现任中国美术学院建筑艺术学院院长、博士生导师。他喜欢箫管,擅长书法和山水画,执着践行中国本土建筑学理念,享有“中国最具人文气质的建筑家”美誉。代表作品有世博会宁波滕头案例馆、苏州大学文正学院图书馆和中国美术学院象山校园等。2012年2月27日,他获得了本年度普里兹克建筑学奖,成为获得这项殊荣的第一个中国公民。
Wang Shu: Born in Xinjiang in 1963 and lived in Xi’an. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of Nanjing Institute of Technology (now Southeast University) in 1985 and received his Ph.D. in Architecture from Tongji University in 2000. He is currently the dean and PhD supervisor of the School of Architecture and Art, China Academy of Art. He likes flute pipe, is good at calligraphy and landscape painting, persists in practicing the concept of Chinese native architecture and enjoys the reputation of “Most Humane Architect in China”. Representative works of the Expo Ningbo Tengtou Case Museum, Suzhou University, Wen Zheng College Library and the China Academy of Art Xiangshan campus. On February 27, 2012, he won the Prizren Architecture Prize this year and became the first Chinese citizen to win this award.
