在语言研究中引进数理统计方法,对语言成分的使用情况进行统计,在国外已有百余年历史。国内采用统计学方法研究汉语亦有半个世纪的历史。蒙古语文研究运用统计学方法起步很晚,而且在人力物力投入方面远远跟不上形势的发展。以往的研究也曾对蒙古语的某些成分进行过统计分析,但尚未真正运用统计学方法进行系统的研究,还未能把蒙古语的很多统计规律揭示出来。有许多工作亟待开展。
The introduction of mathematical statistics in linguistic research, statistics on the use of language components, has been in a foreign country for more than 100 years of history. There are also half a century of history in China using statistical methods to study Chinese. The study of Mongolian languages started very late with statistical methods and was far behind the development of human and material resources. Previous studies have also conducted a statistical analysis of some elements of Mongolian language, but have not yet systematically studied the use of statistical methods, and many statistical laws of Mongolian language have not yet been revealed. There is much work to be done.
