《大趋势》的作者J·奈斯比特不久前出了一本“未来学”新著,名为《全球化悖论》(Global Paradox)。台湾已有中文译本问世,据说国内还未听说出版。到底是国情不同。奈氏的《大趋势》与托夫勒的《第三次浪潮》曾在中国出名了一阵子。不过在美国,奈、托二公的名气不过尔尔。《悖论》虽属畅销书之列,却远比不上新近由前足球-影视双栖黑人明星O·J·辛普森写的书《我要告诉你》来的轰动。辛普森去年六月被控谋杀其白人妻子与她的“奸夫”,由传媒大肆渲染。近期开庭审理,成为美国国内压倒一切的头号新闻。辛的书纯属自我辩白,但将给他带来数百万美元的收入。其合作者美其名曰:“补贴讼费”云云。此乃题外话。
