The IJNK project is a multi-country model of macroeconomic connectivity that is subordinate to the United Nations Economic and Social Information and Policy Analysis Department. The project was established in 1968 and is a research and analysis project involving scholars from various countries. For years, L.R. Klein, an economist and Nobel laureate in economics who is a professor of economics at the University of Pennsylvania, has been in charge of the center. When Klein retired in 1990, the LINK project was directly administered by the United Nations.
