对桥梁现况及使用寿命的评估在我国还是一个新的课题 ,随着城市桥梁的快速增多 ,此方面的研究与投资日趋重要。美国的相关研究处于领先的地位 ,清华大学与美国纽约市交通桥梁局将于 2 0 0 1年 9月在北京联合举行相关的讲座。本刊为配合此次活动并引入国外对相关课题研究的大致情况 ,特在本期中刊发美国B YANEV和陈晓明博士的相关文章 ,希望为我国开展桥梁评估的工作起到抛砖引玉的作用
The evaluation of bridge status and service life is still a new topic in our country. With the rapid increase of urban bridges, the research and investment in this area are becoming more and more important. Relevant research in the United States is in a leading position and Tsinghua University will hold joint lectures with the Transportation Bridge Administration of New York City in the United States in September 2001 in Beijing. To tie in with this event and to introduce the general situation of foreign research on related topics, this issue is published in the United States B YANEV and Dr. Chen Xiaoming articles, hoping to carry out our assessment of the bridge to play a pioneering role
