中国与希腊体育无论在其文化内核─—哲学思想,还是其文化内涵“外显”特征─—审美观,都表现出较大的差异:中国传统体育以“天人合一”为其文化内核,以追求养生为目的,突出体现了精神上的人格美审美价值。希腊的传统体育注重“天人之别”,并以其为文化内核。以科学、规范。公平竞争为其表现形式,突出体现了追求人体外形塑造的审美观。然而,也正是这些差异,加之社会的发展等因素,才使中西体育相互之间的借鉴与补充得以成为现实和必然,它们从不同侧面丰富了世界体育的内涵并拓展其外延。
