三峡地区秦汉墓资料已经发表不少,本文在将这些资料分成四期并已有较准确的时代判定基础上,讨论了各期、段年均拥有的墓葬数,并结合相关文献,对各期、段的人口数量进行了推算。结论是:秦代前后人口为1094414人,西汉早期为506019人,西汉中期为458948人,西汉晚期为388340人,新莽前后为741327人,东汉早期为706073人,东汉中期为847288人,东汉晚期为988502人。把它们与历史背景相比较,发现推算出的部分结论与历史情况相合,但也有一些抵牾的地方。
The data of Qin and Han tombs in the Three Gorges area have been published quite a lot. Based on these data, the paper divides the data into four periods and has more accurate times to judge. On the basis of the data, , Section of the population was estimated. The conclusion is: before and after the Qin Dynasty, the population was 1094414, the early Western Han Dynasty was 506,019, the middle Western Han Dynasty was 458,948, the late Western Han Dynasty was 388340, the Xin Mang was 741,327, the Eastern Han Dynasty was 706073, the Eastern Han Dynasty was 847288, the Eastern Han Dynasty 988,502 people. Compare them with the historical background and find that some of the conclusions drawn by the reconciliation coincide with the historical situation, but there are also some contradictions.
