在党的十二大精神指引下,为适应四化建设和预防医学发展的需要,经有关部门大力支持,本刊与广大读者见面了。 人类生活环境及其健康效应,自古以来是人们所熟知的。随着科学技术的进步和社会经济的发展,人类的生产工业化、生活社会化和居住密集化日趋明显,因而这一问题也愈来愈突出和复杂,愈来愈为广大群众和专业工作者所关注。最近,胡耀邦同志指出:“在日新月异的科学发展和社会进步面前,都不能丝毫满足于已有的成就,而必须在思想上和业务上不断提高自己的水平。”为此,本刊将以我国四化建设的实际和国情出发,以预防医学的观点,努力为广大读者特别是专业工作者提供知识更新和学科间相互渗透的机会,探讨环境质量及其演变对人体健康的影响,推广环境与健康的调查研究成果,交流环境卫生监测监督的实践经验,介绍新方法、新技术、新知识,开展专题讨论,普及环境卫生知识。以期达到传递信息、开阔思路、交流经验、增长知识的作
