广东省东莞卫生学校创立于1958年,是一所公办全日制普通中等卫生职业学校,是东莞市医学专业技术人员继续教育基地,同时也是广州医科大学、中南大学成人教育东莞卫校教学点、广东省全科医学教育理论培训基地和卫生专业技术资格人机对话考试机构,主要担任东莞市的中等卫生职业教育、医药卫生类成人学历教育、医学类专业技术人员继续教育与培训等工作。学校坚持“以服务为宗旨,以就业为导向,以技能为核心,以素质教育为根本”的职业教育办学思想,以内涵发展为主题,以开拓创新为动力,以专业拓展建设为龙头,以提高人才培养质量为核心,以文化建设和师资队伍建设为基础,不断推进卫生职业教育的发展。
