潘裕钰先生早年毕业于中央工艺美术学院,擅长版画制作,创作戏剧人物画已有二十余年的经历。他从速写入手,用中国画的笔墨造型手法来塑造既有舞台气氛又有独立人文个性和艺术内涵的戏剧人物形象,充分体现昆剧艺术审美的流畅、细腻、含蓄等主要特征,又在笔墨造型上创造具有个性的独特样式。在造型语言上力图以写意和塑造、线条和水墨共同融汇为基调来体现中国画的本质;他摒弃造型结构上的写实,发挥形象轮廓结构的张力,让人通过线条的丰富变化以及色与墨的交汇产生审美的惬意感。
