“21世纪杯”第二届全国中学生英语口语竞赛于2003年12月在苏州成功举办。来自全国各地的各路英语高手参加了本次比赛。他们用流利的英语现场演讲和敏捷的答辩尽显了风采,也让在场的中外评委对他们的水平大为惊讶。本届比赛的主题是:Learn to Be MoreFrlendly t0 the Envlronment and Anima ls(学会爱护环境和动物)。我们现在选取的是河南省郑州市外国语学校的刘相仰同学的作品。尽管一开始他因为紧张而说得有些拘谨,但他马上就以声情并茂的表现征服了在场的观众,也征服了我。从文中我们不但可以学到许多实用的英语表达句型,还可以体会到爱护地球的重要性和紧迫性,把这文章背诵了,对你的写作将大有帮助。下期我们将继续刊登其他选手的作品!希望这个演讲的新栏目可以得到大家的喜爱!!
The “21st Century Cup” 2nd National Oral English Oral Contest was successfully held in Suzhou in December 2003. Various English experts from all over the country participated in the competition. Their fluent English on-site speeches and agile defenses filled the show, and the Chinese and foreign judges on the court were greatly surprised at their level. The theme of this competition is: Learn to Be MoreFrlendly t0 the Envlronment and Animals. We are now selecting the works of Liu Xiangyang from Foreign Language School in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. Although he was initially very cautious because of nervousness, he immediately conquered the audience and convinced me with his emotional performance. From the text we can not only learn many practical English expressions, but also realize the importance and urgency of caring for the earth. Recitation of this article will greatly help your writing. We will continue to publish the works of other players in the next period! We hope that the new column of this speech will be loved by everyone!!
