科学研究是人们揭示自然界和人类社会客观规律的过程,也是创造知识、加工知识、应用知识的一种知识生产活动。高等学校在培养人才的过程中,既要重视教学,也要重视科研。教学的主要任务是向学生传授科学知识,发展学生的智能。科研的主要任务则是探索新知,更新教学内容,改进教学方法,以培养学生独立思考、分析和解决实际问题的能力。教学与科研两者辩证统一,都是高校培养人才的重要途径。
Scientific research is the process by which people reveal the objective laws of nature and human society. It is also a knowledge-producing activity of creating knowledge, processing knowledge and applying knowledge. In the process of training qualified personnel, colleges and universities should pay attention to teaching as well as scientific research. The main task of teaching is to teach students scientific knowledge and develop students’ intelligence. The main task of scientific research is to explore new knowledge, update teaching content, improve teaching methods to cultivate students’ ability to think independently, analyze and solve practical problems. The dialectical unity of teaching and scientific research are all important ways to cultivate talents in colleges and universities.
