Mansfield Manor enumerated the imperial ideas of the Western center and the eastern edge, presenting the strong rational spirit of the West and the world-building under its spiritual guidance. The “disappeared horizon” complements Western world knowledge with the concept of the eastern world (tranquility, margins or centers). As the implicit and explicit geography in the text, the East contributed not only to the formation of the concept of the center of the West but also to the expansion of the world dominated by Western hegemony. Therefore, reconsidering the oriental concept in the Western vision of the work, the mutual influence and reference between the west and the east, and the changes in the western world, the resulting oriental influence will help us to fully understand western centralism in the new century. Chinese and Western literature and culture to gain new insights into the study.
