在我国研究阿拉伯世界的历史,宗教,语言、文化的领域内,纳忠教授的名字是为人们所熟知的。凡听过他的讲话或跟他接触过的人,都会对他洪亮的声音、渊博的学识和平易近人的态度留下深刻的印象。钠忠教授现任北京外国语学院阿拉伯语系系主任,从1943年初他在原中央大学(现南京大学)开设阿拉伯语专业,使这个当时受人轻视的语种第一次进入国内大学起,到如今他已经度过了整四十年教学生涯了。
