The effect of interfacial intermetallics on the fracture process of the composite sheet was investigated by means of a step-by-step tensile test. The results show that during the uniaxial stretching process, the intermetallics at the Mg / Al interface lead to the initiation and propagation of cracks, resulting in the separation of the Mg / Al interface. In the subsequent stretching process, due to the low strength of the Mg layer, First, a necking failure occurs, causing the entire sample to break prematurely.
