五氯酚与其钠盐是一种良好的防腐剂与杀虫剂,常温下呈固态,具有强烈的酚臭味,主要用于木材防腐、杀白蚁、消灭血吸虫病的中间宿主钉螺等,在农业上用作除莠剂。有关五氯酚与其钠盐的毒性,国内、外已有研究报导,一般认为其属中等毒性,动物实验结果表明,五氯酚与五氯酚钠在体内代谢迅速,排泄快,无蓄积作用,因此也无慢性中毒作用。我们在对接触五氯酚及五氯酚钠的工人进行卫生学调查时,发现该毒物对人体毒性较强,且排泄缓慢,有蓄积作用,故对其毒性重新进行了实验研究。

Therefore, we conducted a new experimental study on its toxicity.
