介绍了玉米茎秆强度测定在玉米遗传育种中的重要性,提出了玉米茎秆强度测定仪的设计原理。在调研了国内外有关玉米茎秆强度测定仪的技术基础上,利用单片计算机的技术研制了一种新型的便携式且能在田间测试的仪器。通过使用该仪器在田间实地试验、对11个玉米品种的茎秆强度的测试,其结果表明不同品种间茎秆的强度存在着显著差异,而同一品种的不同小区则无显著性差异。
The importance of stalk strength determination in maize genetic breeding was introduced. The design principle of maize stalk strength tester was put forward. On the basis of investigating the technology of cornstalk strength tester both at home and abroad, a new type of portable instrument that can be tested in the field is developed by using the technology of single-chip computer. The stalk strength of 11 maize cultivars was tested in field experiments using this instrument. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the stalk strength among different cultivars, but there was no significant difference among the different cultivars in the same variety.
