Since the publication of “The Reform of the College Entrance Examination Standards” was published in the fifth issue of 2001, many readers have expressed their opinions and made some suggestions. To this end, the issue of “What do you want to say about the physical examination standards for college entrance examination?” was launched in the 6th issue of the journal in 2001. Some people think that it is an unfair move for the standards to block some of the candidates from outside the university and deprive them of the right to study. Some think that the standard is a product of the planned economy and should be abolished today. Some people think that there should be standard requirements for the body, but they should be appropriately relaxed. The benevolent people see the benevolent and the wise see the wisdom. To this end, the journal specially invited Comrade Qiu Cancun, who is an advisor for the enrollment of students from the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, and participants in the setting of physical examination standards, asked him to answer questions about the doubts of readers. At the same time, we also used this interview as the concluding remark of this discussion.
