Living in Biru County of north Tibet, religious bureau director Dainzin Zhaba is now in his fifties. He has a swarthy com- plexion and is very hospitable as well as bold and frank. It was in autumn of 2002 that I met him. Everyone who has worked with him feels that he is practical, realistic and assiduous. Doing religious work, one needs to go into the countryside frequently, and the work is very hard. Director Dainzin always pushes on without demur.
