在肿瘤病因研究中,目前已注意到动物,特别是与人类生活关系密切的家饲动物中肿瘤流行情况,以便为人类肿瘤病因研究提供线索。据报导鸡咽——食管癌的患病率与人类食管癌死亡率之间有明显关系。湖北省钟祥县大柴湖区的河南移民社员中食管癌死亡率高于老户社员(为5:1)。最近我们在移民中亦发现了鸡食管癌一例,有关情况报导如下:
In the study of tumor etiology, attention has been paid to the prevalence of tumors in animals, especially in domestic animals closely related to human life so as to provide clues for the study on the etiology of human tumors. There is a clear relationship between the prevalence of chicken throat-esophageal cancer and the mortality of human esophageal cancer. The death rate of esophageal cancer among Henan immigrant members in Dachaihu District, Zhongxiang County, Hubei Province was higher than that of Laohu members (5: 1). Recently, we also found a case of chicken esophageal cancer in the immigrants. The relevant reports are as follows:
