在外贸外事活动中,会谈涉及的内容比较多,譬如政策的交流,国情、省情和当地情况的介绍,商务会谈等等。会谈的方式有一般的交换意见,友好的寒喧,严正的表态,耐心的说理,磋商和讨价还价,乃至对协议合同条款的逐句讨论。不言而喻,外贸谈判是一项要求较高、难度较大的工作。一个合格的口译人员应该具备什么条件呢?下面谈几点个人的体会。
In foreign trade and foreign affairs activities, the talks involved more content, such as policy exchanges, national conditions, provincial conditions and the introduction of local conditions, business talks and so on. There are general exchanges of views, friendly noises, solemn statements, patient arguments, negotiation and bargaining, and even sentence-by-sentence discussions on the terms of the agreement. It goes without saying that foreign trade negotiations are a more demanding and difficult task. What qualifications should a qualified interpreter have? Here are some personal experiences.
