Knutsz is renowned for exposing the violence and the evil in American society. Her early works depict the fate and life of women living below society. Later, her creative tentacles gradually deepened into the male world. Boxing explored the positive crisis in American society, physical and psychological limits, and the separation between normal and pathological behavior. The recent “Great Falls” made deep thinking on the positive crisis, defeat and human dignity. What is the courage? What is the honor? What is the morality? How to deal with the crisis? The male protagonists in the “Great Falls” expressly answer these questions with their actions.
