OBJECTIVE: To explore the application and effect comparison of fall risk assessment in ophthalmic wards. Methods: Monocular surgery patients who were hospitalized in our department were divided into two groups. Patients in the control group were given routine nursing care. The patients in the observation group were evaluated on the fall-down scale and the patients with the risk of falling. According to the scores, Targeted individual protection measures. The incidence of falls in both groups was compared with those in falls prevention. Results: In the control group, 11 cases of fall and 11.0% of fall occurred in the control group, 1 case of fall in the observation group and 1.0% of fall in the observation group (P = 0.001). Satisfaction of the fall prevention group was observed in the observation group Degree (take the initiative to introduce the ward environment, to inform patients to wear non-slip shoes, fall prevention publicity and education, bed and medication to inform matters needing attention, ward ground dry and clean, commonly used items fixed placed bed to bed pull up, ) Was significantly higher than the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion: The implementation of the fall assessment scale can reduce the incidence of ophthalmic patients falling.
