随着科学技术的不断进步及人类物质生活水平的不断提高,室内环境已不满足于功能的需要,而重视形象的表现了。视觉形象表现涉及设计艺术视觉传达领域的构图、造型、色彩3大体系,在室内设计中可分为空间布局、艺术造型、材料应用3大部分。其中材料应用涉及的是装饰材料的合理运用及在室内空间中的面积情况,它包括材料使用功能上的合理性和视觉上的艺术性。而材料应用中视觉上的艺术性,主要是指材料的色彩、肌理处理。
