她曾是一位青春靓丽、心地善良的大学生,但耽于幻想,追求罗曼蒂克的爱情,在现实中遭遇一系列无情的打击。为寻求内心的那份尊严,她试图通过非常规手段,缓解人生的困境,却因犯盗窃罪被判处有期徒刑15年,并处罚金10万元。2010年4月26日,被羁押在河南省焦作市某监狱的她接到了自己的刑事判决书。她泪流满面地说:“都是所谓的爱,让我迷失了方向,昏了头啊……”她叫余云林,主办此案的检察官感慨地说:“发生在余云林身上的故事很值得我们思考。”
