周恩来的宴会,使蒋介石把胡宗南集团的40万大军拖了一个多月不能动弹,直到全部被歼灭,这是国民党在大陆最后一个被消灭的重兵集团。1949年7月,胡宗南的总兵站和后方主要供给基地宝鸡,已被解放军占领。胡宗南逃到汉中,彻底结束了他在西北为王的历史。他率领手下三个兵团,共有13个军,一边苦心经营陕南基地,一边寻找出路。
Zhou Enlai’s banquet caused Chiang Kai-shek to drag the 400,000 troops of the Hu Tsung-nan group for more than a month and could not move until it was completely annihilated. This was the last heavy-handed Kuomintang group to be eliminated on the mainland. July 1949, Hu Zongnan’s chief general station and the rear of the main supply base Baoji, has been occupied by the People’s Liberation Army. Hu Tsung-nan fled to Hanzhong and completely ended his history of being king in the northwest. He led his men three corps, a total of 13 troops, while painstakingly operating in southern base, while looking for a way out.
