在铣床上加工凸轮、螺旋槽时,挂轮比i的计算方法为:i=40t/L。式中:40——分度头定数;t——纵向丝杠螺距;L——工件导程。这种计算方法比较麻烦,我们在实际生产中,总结了一个较简便的公式: i=(θ°/9°)/(s/t),θ°——工件所需加工的角度;9°——分度头手柄转一圈的定数;s——工件所需加工的长度;t——铣床纵向丝杠螺距。此式原理是工件需要加工部分的角度,在分度头上所转过的圈数θ°/9°
