额叶是大脑发育中最高级的部分,它包括初级运动区、前运动区和前额叶(prefrontal corte,PF),其中PF与认知功能关系密切.前额叶又分为眶部、背部、内侧部和外侧部,其中眶部和内侧部、背部和外侧部的结构和功能较为接近.rnPF与大脑其它区域有着密切关系.PF和所有的感觉区都有往返的纤维联系,其眶后部和腹内侧部有投射到海马旁回和海马前下脚的纤维,组成了内侧颞叶-间脑系统的一部分;PF与纹状体、杏仁核、颞叶、枕叶和顶叶等脑区的联系也很密切[1,2],因此,PF与多种感觉信息的加工、记忆、思维及情绪等脑的高级功能有关.从细胞水平来看,PF神经元具有多感觉性质,它们参与多种信息的加工;同时,PF神经元具有柱状组织,表现为功能异质性,如一些PF神经元在延缓反应的延缓期放电明显增加,而另一些神经元对行为的其它特性更为敏感[3].PF神经元的这些结构和功能上的特点是其在记忆中起重要作用的神经基础.
